Theological Education Summit

There were two theological education summit held in 2008 attended by school heads, national administrative team and district ministry supervisors. The summit was aimed to align all CAMACOP theological education programs to the denomination vision and mission and to develop a unified curriculum. [top]

Unified, Laderized Curriculum

The CAMACOP Bible schools approved during the General Santos City Summit in October 2008, the unified curriculum for the Pastoral Ministry and Christian Education programs. This curriculum is a 144 unit course composed of 48 subjects based on four basic pillars of BIBLE, THEOLOGY, MINISTRY, and SOCIAL SCIENCE. The training is ladderized in structure composed of four ministry skills of EVANGELISM, DISCIPILESHIP, PASTORAL and MANAGEMENT/ADMINISTRATION.

There are about 500 students now enrolled in this program under the AGS innovative program.

Doctoral Program

The Doctor of Ministry program for CAMACOP pastors with Masters degree is now being prepared by the Alliance Graduate School the host school.

Training for North Luzon

The Division of General and Theological Education has partner with THE FISHERS OF MEN the school for ministry of the All Christian Foundation in San Fernando La Union for the training of pastors in the area of Region 1 and Region 2.

Sunday School Materials

Adult/Youth Sunday School lessons had been published, promoted, and distributed for sale to all districts.

3. DEPARTMENT OF ALLIANCE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

CAMACOP Owned School

CAMACOP has two schools owned and operated schools in Mindanao that are programmed to be CAMACOP colleges in the future:

  1.  A.B. Simpson Alliance School
ABSAS, the CAMACOP school in Zamboanga City is now on its 8th year of equipping children for godly life. Founded in 2000, the school has now more than 200 students (elementary & high school).

  2.  Fil-Asian Mission Academy
FAMA is the CAMACOP school in Davao City, located at DABC campus. FAMA is now on her 2nd year of ministry. It has now 80 pupils enrolled from preschool to grade 2.

CAMACOP Recognized Schools

Out of more or less 200 existing church-based school, only 34 of these had officially complied and submitted in papers the complete requirements to DACS office in order to become a CAMACOP-recognized school. [top]
