May 6, 2009

Twenty-one faithful, hardworking, and persistent ministers and lady ministers who have served the Lord in the CAMACOP for at least 50 years were recognized and given the "Golden Service Award" plaque last April 22-26, 2009 during the occasion of the 50th General Assembly at Crown Regency Suites, Lapu-lapu City. Bishop Reniel Joel A. Nebab gave the plaques. Among those given was the Bishop's mother, Mrs. Deonicia Agustin-Nebab.

In his recognition of the awardees, Bishop Nebab noted the unswerving faith and resilience of each one of them in serving the Lord. Rev. He was represented in the Assembly by Rev. Jonathan Labrador. The second longest- serving living awardee was Mrs. Proserfina Aspiras-Bulalang who was present during the Assembly and the awarding. She graduated in Ebenezer Bible College in 1940. She has been serving the Lord for the past 69 years. service awardee 1
