Hapee Toothpaste, PCBS, Anonymous donor sponsor LAYC 2010

A maker of sanitary products, a Christian bookstore chain, and an anonymous donor sponsored the latest Luzon Alliance Youth conference held in Nueva Ecija Convention Center in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija last April 19- 23.

Lamoiyan Corporation, producer of Hapee toothpaste, and other sanitary products, the Philippine Christian Book Store, distributor of Christian literature and gift items, and other ministry services throughout the country, and an anonymous donor who did not want to be named, provided resources that made the conference successful.

436 youth officially registered for the conference. Many of these youth from all over Luzon, including Bicol, and some from Visayas, came to know Christ in a personal manner during the convention, while leadership discussions on topics such as evangelism, personal development, leadership in the church, the youth, and in other ministries, were held during the weeklong event. The provincial COMELEC office, headed by Atty. Fernando Cot-om, also conducted a Voters’ Education presentation which included the actual trial voting and canvassing of votes using a PCOS machine.

The government of Nueva Ecija also helped in the ministry for the youth which is now on its third offering. The overall coordinator for the event was Pastor Raymond Domingo of the Metro Manila District of CAMACOP.
