Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Greetings in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth!
Please pray for me and my family for:
1. Full guidance of the Holy Spirit in everything that we do.
2. Complete healing of my son, Rigel Lou, who has been sick for two weeks of viral infection.
3. Provision to pay our flat and daily needs.
4. Fast processing of the employment visa of Red, my son Lyle Riyadh, his wife Marie Kristine, my daughter-in-law Maria Leonila and her husband Rigel Lou, my nephews Augustus, Bayani Jr., Lalay, and Harold and Lilibeth.
5. It takes time for the authentication of their papers in the UAE Embassy and even Marie Kristine, Harold and my son Lyle Riyadh have not been released their diploma and transcript of records from their respective schools. Please pray for God's favor that they will be able to receive them and authenticate them as their employment in Dubai is urgent.
Perhaps, by this time, my sisters and brothers especially in the Global Intercessors, our kapatid Red has informed you that an employer, who I do not know, just met me sometime last month asking me for ten people who need work. His secretary called me up at 12:37 in the aftenoon, just after noon day. but earlier I was crying to the Lord for assistance. I do not have the capability to let people, who are interested to join me in my ministry here, come to Dubai. I do not want them to come on visit visa. Red has emailed me. Lilibeth, who lost her job last year, wanted to come back to help me in the ministry. She has been preaching in Pangasina and has been able to bear so much fruit after being with me in Dubai at the time of her difficulties hearing the word of God. I need my son to be here as he can play the guitar and can help me in the Music Ministry but I cannot help them come. [top]
As I cried and prayed, intently waiting for God's reply at 11:26 in the morning and at 11:47 in the morning few minutes, the Holy Spirit told me, "I am the Great I am, who makes things possible for you. I have sent men to bless you and it will be done to you and your children for my sake. I am the Great I am, the God of Abraham, of Isaac and of Jacob. I am the God of your Fathers who blesses them and is now blessing you. Never worry about what to eat, what to dress, what to do for the future. Your future is mine, even your children, they are mine."
In less than an hour after this, I received a call from a Filipina telling me her boss wanted to meet me. She told me her boss instructed her to contact me and to ask permission for him to call me and to meet me. I asked her, how did you get my mobile number. She said, I called up the newspaper that published your article about a Filipino maid, who was seriously battered by her employer. The phone operator gave me your mobile. I then asked her, why would your boss want to meet me? She replied, he has compassion for all the people you have helped and published. He wants to help you and them.
That afternoon about 5pm I met her boss, an Indian, in the coffee shop inside Shangrila Hotel. He showed me my newstories about Filipinos suffering, which he cut and kept in his attache case. He told me frankly I wanted to hire these people. I told him that most of these people are already back in Manila after they won their case in the Ministry of Labour. He said I would go to Manila and interview them. Please contact them and tell them to submit their resume and c.v.s to you. If you have family members and friends, who want to work here, I will also hire them. That time, I was also praying for Red, who wants to help in my ministry. We have already exchanged emails thrice. So I included him in the list of ten people, which finally became 13. They were all accepted during the interview with the employer last September 12 to 16 at New World Renaissance Hotel in Makati. I praise God for this. Please help pray for them that God will give His special favour for the release of their school records and for quick processing of their employment visa. [top]
Last Thursday, October 15, the employer met me again after he arrived from Kenya in Africa. He interviewed my son Rigel Lou, who has been with me here for two years. He, at first wanted to get a job so he can have residence visa and stay with me. But, every time the prospective employer set an interview with my son, something would happen that he could not go, even one time, he had left his envelope containing his passport and authenticated school records in the taxi. My son panic but I told him to pray. I told him that both of us should pray on same thing, as the Holy Bible taught us that if two people agree on one thing, God will give what they have asked. So we both prayed then that God would lead the taxi driver back to my son, and indeed, in God's amazing saving grace, the taxi driver who could not speak English, tried to look for a friend who could speak English to call my son, whose mobile number was written in his c.v. or resume. After four hours same day, the passport and all the important credentials of my son were returned to him. Thanks God for everything. I then told my son, your job here is to prepare yourself for God's service, serve Him in the Worship Team and never ever again try to find a job. Wait for God to reveal to you who will be your employer. I sent him to study Keyboard, which he is now good at playing, thanks to God again. Now, God has revealed who this employer is. Last Thursday, the employer told him to start working next week. To God be the glory.
This time, I am saddled with financial requirements for our stay here. Financially, no Church is supporting me. Nor any Christian organization is behind me. But, I praise God that He is the Great Provider. He has heard my cries. He has given work for my children and those interested to be with me. Even those who received Jesus early this year and wanted to come back to help me. Pray for me and my family and these new members, who are coming to join me in the Holy Joy Church that God has entrusted upon me. To God be the glory. [top]
In my difficulties and sorrows, God always reminds me Isaiah 40:28-31 "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom." v.29 "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." v.30 "Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall:" v.31 "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
I praise God for His promise. I always claim this promise that I will be strengthened even at the verge of difficulties. I know that my God will never put me to shame nor leave me alone in sorrow. He is always faithful and because He has said that He will be with me wherever I go and whatever I do. He will do it as he has said it. Amen.
Isaiah 55:11 "So is my word that goes out from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire, and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
Amazingly, two other employers came to me. One wanted to hire a salesman with UAE driving licence and the other, owner of a new hotel, wanted applicants with hotel experience. I am still asking every Filipino I meet in the bus and in any place to spread the word to all unemployed Filipinos for God has given them His divine favour. Amen. To God be the glory. Amen.
Please pray for my provisions and the full guidance of the Holy Spirit. This week, I am waiting for God's grace and mercy to be upon me and my family. Amen. [top]
Four and a half years, in 2005, Jesus told me that He would send my eldest daughter to the USA for He will use her mightily there for His glory, That time, my daughter and husband with their daughter had been working in Brunei Darussalam. Until now, her husband is still working there. My daughter went home for a year without work for she volunteered to help in the Alliance Church in Banilad, Cebu at the same time, starting to do self review for the US Board Exams for Physical Therapist. Then early this year, an employer in the US she found online, was interested to hire her on the condition that she would go to the US on tourist visa and take the Board Exams there. She agreed but the employer would pay only half of the airfare and that she needed to enter USA before the expiry of her tourist visa by September 28. I could not help her financially but I prayed with the rest of my family that God would provide her needs. Three days before this date, she was able to find P40,000 which she needed. She flew to Los Angeles that day September 28, and took the board exams on October 7. That day, as I prayed, Jesus told me that His promise four and a half years ago would be the same. She would receive His victory and would work in USA for His glory. October 8, the following day, the results were released. She passed the Board Exams, the only one among the three of them who left Manila to take the board and to work for the same hospital. My daughter, Myrell Mae, arrived Saturday from Los Angeles, bringing with her the contract from her employer and other papers needed to file an H1 visa at the US Embassy in Manila. Her two other companions are still in Los Angeles, taking again the exams. One of them has taken thrice but has not yet passed the board exams. I praise God and thank Him exceedingly for His faithfulness. Amen. [top]
