EXECUTIVE LETTER OF INSTRUCTION
Number 5, Series of 2010

SUBJECT: BIBLE EMPHASIS MONTH

TO ALL CAMACOP CONSTITUENTS

The month of January every year has been designated as BIBLE EMPHASIS MONTH. This is a duly enacted policy by the National Board of Trustees in April 2007, which says, “MSC to designate the month of January every year as Bible Emphasis Month.� The Bible Emphasis Month is for the purpose of focusing on the Word of God for Christian faith and practice. The Philippine Bible Society celebrates Bible Week every last week of January on the strength of two (2) Presidential Decrees.

I hereby instruct all ministers and church leaders to celebrate Bible Emphasis Month with Sunday School lessons and messages on the importance of the Word for Christian faith and practice. Readings from both the Old and New Testaments must pervade in all services. I am also encouraging local churches to receive special offerings for the Philippine Bible Society as our contribution for the printing of the Scripture.

I also hereby instruct the regional ministry coordinators and district ministry supervisors to see to it that this instruction is carried out and implemented in our local churches.
